維基國際標準化組織（ISO）的ISO 3166-2國際標準是ISO 3166的第二部份，定義約3700個國家或地區的主要行政區代碼。每一行政區代碼格式為「國家縮寫-行政區代碼」，國家縮寫是ISO 3166-1的兩字代碼，行政區代碼則經常依據各國標準，以字母、數字或混用的方式，制定一到三字的代碼。 例：CN-11是中國北京市的代碼，前者為ISO 3166-1代碼，後者則根據中華人民共和國國家標準GB/T 2260制定而成。 更動∕版本 不知道各國代碼，可查詢ISO 3166-1的國家列表。熟悉國家代碼者可依下方的分類列表找尋。 如何查詢 有些代碼由ISO 3166/MA制定，受版權保護。其他已在特定國家使用。 省份一字；首府兩字：KG 自治市一字；縣兩字：RO 規則一字；例外兩字：SE 共和國兩字；州、邊疆區、直轄市、自治州、民族自治區三字：RU 市兩字；區三字：AZ 分類列表 ISO更新明細（英） ISO 3166-2簡介（英） 聯合國歐洲經濟委員會查詢網站（英） |

At the time of writing, both GB and UK are formal ISO3166-2codes for the United Kingdom with GB being the assigned code for Great Britain and UK being exceptionally reserved by the United Kingdom.... Just to follow that up: in the UK"England and Wales"is often treated as one entity, for example for laws and statistics, and is included inISO 3166-2as GB-EAW (or UK-EAW) England and Wales. I think this is quite an unusual case but... Country subdivisions (ISO 3166-2). The country subdivisions are a little more complex than the countries itself because they provide a nested and typed structure.
