G41/42work quite well, but they do require strictly avoiding gouging the work side. Some controls are quite forgiving on that. The techniques to avoid the gouges are pretty simple when setting up lead-in and lead-out points.

Or should pocketing be performed with a plunge and then manual path boxing out to the pocket confines and finally using ag41/42around the pocket profile? Some of the feature work I want to do with EMC is triangular...
